The Peaceful Fruit of Righteousness

The Peaceful Fruit of Righteousness Today's sermon is for the mature follow... Today's sermon is for the mature follower of Jesus from Hebrews 12. The title is part of Hebrews 12:11, which says " Now all discipline for the present does not seem to be joyful, but painful; then later it gives back the peaceful fruit of righteousness to the ones having been trained by it. " It's critically important to let go of any bitterness or unforgiveness (or even expectations of others) fully in our hearts, as this will result in sin, don't be a "threshold crosser" as Esau was. https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=4019&feed_id=5179

Married for Eternity

Married for Eternity Jesus passionate love for us leads Him ... Jesus passionate love for us leads Him to go to every length to purify us so that we can be married for eternity to Him. To be purified, we must make a deep and thorough repentance. E.E. Shelhamer's Manifestations of Carnality provides specific suggestions. Secondly, we must quickly do whatever Jesus tells us to do. Will you resolve to not patch over anything? Will you go all the way with Jesus so that he can bring revival? https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=6403&feed_id=5148

Pastor Ray lays out the new covenant and the role of Jesus as our High Priest, as well as His dual role as the King of Kings. Make a decision in your heart today that you allow Jesus to function in both roles. "Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them." Hebrews 7:25  Let the King of Kings rule and reign over your heart and your life through every circumstance and you will be amazed what He will begin to do in your life! He will give you peace and His righteousness, what a mighty God we serve. https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3974&feed_id=4878

Escape Now the Culture of Wickedness

Escape Now the Culture of Wickedness You can be delivered and regenerated. I... You can be delivered and regenerated. It's not a bout self-improvement but it's simply about crucifixion and allowing Jesus to make you into a new creature. There is no reason to walk in sin. It's time to rise up in Jesus and give Him full reign in your life, if you've not done so already. https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3808&feed_id=4844

The Glory of Mother

The Glory of Mother The glory of a mother is that she never... The glory of a mother is that she never gives up on her kids. Likewise, God predestined a holy church, and He will not give up on her. But, this election is corporate--not individual. Like the children of Israel, we can be called brethren yet reject in unbelief the promises of God for our lives. Will you let God birth you, as a new, holy creature, into his elect church? Our sister Kathryn's welcome is a wonderful unfolding of Hebrews 5 and walking in the beauty of Jesus. https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=6080&feed_id=4761

What Turns the Heart of Jesus?

What Turns the Heart of Jesus? Using the stories of Jairus and the wom... Using the stories of Jairus and the woman with an issue of blood for 12 years, Pastor Ray raises the question of what turns the heart of Jesus? It's clear from the story and many other scriptures that Jesus doesn't come until there is a desperate need for Him and that we have fully humbled our hearts before Him. Do you need to touch the heart of Jesus today? https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3815&feed_id=4679

By the Grace of God, I'm Not Going Back

By the Grace of God, I'm Not Going Back God is not interested in a superficial ... God is not interested in a superficial work in our hearts, he must take each of us all the way to the bottom. In this very special sermon, Pastor Ray lays out   four simple doctrines from a dear group of Christians from the 17th century that are key to revival followed by four specific behaviors that block this work. By the grace of God, we are trusting that Jesus will get the victory in our hearts as we simply trust Him with all of our hearts. May Jesus bring each one of us through to complete victory, amidst the tears and brokenness that will flow as He takes us to the bottom. Amen!  (Note: We used some different software to record the sermon with mixed results, please pray for wisdom for us, as we seek to obey what Jesus asks us to do.) https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3906&feed_id=4629

Tearing the Heart of God

Tearing the Heart of God The American church today, and the chur... The American church today, and the church in most of the Western world as well, face a divorce with God. We've been unfaithful and cannot expect the loving presence of God until we've rebuilt trust with Him through repentance and obedience.  God does not want to let us go -- will you give up all expectations, and simply love and fully submit your life to Jesus? (Note: We're also including Sister Michelle's welcome. This sermon is the beginning of a series on the book of Hosea. We strongly encourage you to read and pray over this book and allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart.) https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=4341&feed_id=4417

Asa, King of Judah

Asa, King of Judah King Asa led the nation of Judah in rig... King Asa led the nation of Judah in righteousness, and God blessed them with peace and prosperity. But then Asa turned from the Lord and began to make political decisions without seeking God. When rebuked, Asa put God's people in prison and persecuted them. Finally, he died with an impenitent heart. How did this happen? Simply, Asa forgot that he was a sojourner. He forgot that this world wasn't his home, and that he wasn't an independent free agent who didn't need God. Likewise, as Christians, we're to keep our eyes focused on heaven and fixed upon Jesus. We're to disconnect from anything or anyone that doesn't help us or others get to heaven. And we're to give our prayers, conversations, and resources to help our brothers and sisters get there. Who can you help on the journey to heaven today? https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=7435&feed_id=4411

O God, Awaken My Heart!

O God, Awaken My Heart! Jesus' heart overflows with grief when ... Jesus' heart overflows with grief when he has to send sinners to hell. Will you compel Him to do so based on the choices you're making? You may intellectually know the gospel, but choose things that "unsave" you, and will subsequently ruin your soul for eternity. Will you join John Bunyan's Christian and run to the narrow gate today? Welcome message by Sister Michelle https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=4112&feed_id=4380

The Miracle of Change

The Miracle of Change Jesus Christ stopped Saul in his tracks... Jesus Christ stopped Saul in his tracks on the road to Damascus. How did Jesus deal with this sinner? Did he begin by saying, "God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life. Let's get you in an anger management class"? No! Instead, Saul underwent a miracle of change. Within three days, the raging murderer changed into a meek preacher of the gospel. Have you likewise been converted from a sinner into a saint? https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=7578&feed_id=4171

The End of America

The End of America Earlier this week, Dr. Michael Savage, ... Earlier this week, Dr. Michael Savage, a secular Jew issued this announcement on his nationally syndicated broadcast: “Unless Christianity receives a new enthusiasm that sweeps the Western world, and Christianity itself rises up against the forces against it,” he said, “the entire West will collapse in your lifetime.” There must be a resurgence of the Gospel message and we must become like Blind Bartimaeus   crying out for Jesus to not pass us by. We are much like the crowd in that we somehow think we're okay but we're not fully aware of our blindness. We must determine in our hearts to have a single-mindedness to seek Jesus while there is still time. I pray that you have ears to ear the still small voice of the Holy Spirit today. http://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3891&feed_id=3982

The Revolutionary Resurrection!

The Revolutionary Resurrection! The word revolutionary is defined as te... The word revolutionary is defined as tending to produce a revolution. Revolution is simply the motion of a body round any fixed point or center. After our crucifixion, Jesus brings to a place where our lives totally revolve around Him and His body (i.e., the church). There's such an incredible work that Jesus wants to do in us, if we'll simply yield and surrender to Him. May the Holy Spirit quicken this word to your heart. Jesus doesn't call us to condemn us but simply to leave everything and follow Him. Jesus primary interest is about the church, the ones who are following Him and He is preparing our hearts for eternity. Will you allow Him full access and control over your life? I pray that the faith of God will grip your heart and that you will grab this word. Be encouraged and be fully given to Jesus! https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3865&feed_id=4000

Today's message is very sobering and is an overview of a new series on the messages to the churches. Today's message is the overreaching message to all of the churches. It's clear that the common theme between all of the churches is to overcome. Are you an overcomer? https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=32054&feed_id=3962

The House of God

The House of God Using the story of the paralytic, which... Using the story of the paralytic, which is present is in the synoptic gospels, Matthew, Mark and Luke, Pastor Ray explains that the kingdom of God has come! The kingdom of God means the ruling authority of God. No sin has the power to stand against the blood of Jesus! Is there part of your life where you are still paralyzed? If so, Jesus wants to set you free where He removes the sin and makes you righteous. You'll have to listen for the hidden promise in John 14, but I assure you it's worth the listen. Glory be to Jesus, the one with power and authority over all the works of the devil! https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3857&feed_id=3886

Walk in the Light of Jesus!

Walk in the Light of Jesus! Sister Kathryn, following John 1, talks... Sister Kathryn, following John 1, talks about walking in the light of Jesus. We must choose to walk in the glorious light of Jesus or walk in the darkness of the devil. It's a continuous choice that we must make. https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3949&feed_id=3832

The Secret to Spiritual Power

The Secret to Spiritual Power The pivotal point on which the spiritua... The pivotal point on which the spiritual power of God turns is our willingness to lie in the dust in apparent failure. Like Esther, who said, "If I perish, I perish," we succeed with God when we commit to obey Him even if it means we die. Jesus called this "pruning" and promised we would bear fruit. Have you consciously and painfully consented to apparent failure for the sake of Jesus? Are you believing God for revival power now? https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=6470&feed_id=3817

The Cleansing Fire of God!

The Cleansing Fire of God! Pastor Ray summarizes the week's broadc... Pastor Ray summarizes the week's broadcasts on the Elijah company and outlines the elements of this company. The Lord is calling for an Elijah company that will let go of all things of the flesh and function in the Spirit and be totally sold out to Jesus. It's time for a Mt. Carmel experience for the American church, are you willing to forsake everything and cry out to God for judgment unto repentance? https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3836&feed_id=3763
