King Asa led the nation of Judah in righteousness, and God blessed them with peace and prosperity. But then Asa turned from the Lord and began to make political decisions without seeking God. When rebuked, Asa put God's people in prison and persecuted them. Finally, he died with an impenitent heart. How did this happen? Simply, Asa forgot that he was a sojourner. He forgot that this world wasn't his home, and that he wasn't an independent free agent who didn't need God.

Likewise, as Christians, we're to keep our eyes focused on heaven and fixed upon Jesus. We're to disconnect from anything or anyone that doesn't help us or others get to heaven. And we're to give our prayers, conversations, and resources to help our brothers and sisters get there.

Who can you help on the journey to heaven today?

Soldiering On

We must take the position, "Either the Holy Spirit comes, or the church closes. And it's over." How do you know if you're soldiering on? When your church stops confession and repentance. Instead, the church fills up broken cisterns with washed up doctrine, programs and Bible studies, casualness, and happy praise and worship. As a result, the church makes no impact on the culture. Christians remain carnal and unsanctified, and the lost unsaved. This isn't God's heart for the church. Before, the church had revivals. Refreshings of the Holy Spirit brought general change to entire cities and nations. Criminal activities stopped, bars closed, broken families made peace, and people paid back old debts. But, the modern church is so used to soldiering on that we don't even...

The Terrifying Work of Demons

The Terrifying Work of Demons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDqcrA... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDqcrAuPfYA Pastor Ray delves into the spirit world to uncover the terrifying work of demons. We must know and engage in this battle and trust Jesus to fully deliver us. He uses the story of the demoniac in Mark Chapter 5 to uncover the enemy's game plan for you and me. Have you been set free by the blood of Jesus, or are you still enslaved? The battle belongs to the Lord, but we must engage ourselves in this battle through confession, repentance and trust in Jesus. The heart of Jesus is victory against every demonic power that would come against you. https://www.nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=41536&feed_id=1015

The END Is Near!

The END Is Near! https://youtu.be/yJbPzNVzYk4 We've... https://youtu.be/yJbPzNVzYk4 We've made the erroneous assumption that all are saved, meaning that there's nothing between the hearts of the congregants and Jesus. This wicked lie has vaccinated many against the convicting arrows of the Holy Spirit and kept many in their iniquities, where they never had to deal with their wicked ways before a holy God. We also have our modern wicked culture, which is intertwined with the church leaving us in a quagmire. Pastor Ray walks us through many of the blocks to desperate prayer, which must be confronted head on. Are you willing to deal with anything between your heart and the heart of Jesus? His desire is to set you free. Many who call themselves Christians because of their pride will block themselves out, as they've been unwilling to humble themselves before God and their fellow man. What will you do, dear one? https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=37625...
