Scriptures Used During Today's broadcast: Genesis 21, Acts 3:16-20, Revelation 3:14-22, Hebrews 12

The primary question Pastor Ray raises today in our study of Abraham (and other worthies) is whether God answers prayers or not. Our focus begins today with God answering the cry of Abraham's slave wife. If God answered the cries of this pagan woman, would He answer the cry of one of His own.

Pastor Ray walks us through a couple of key passages that highlight this great need of our hearts. The commen thread that is seen in all of these scriptures is the necessity of real repentance, an earnest repentance as Jesus demanded of the Laodicean church.

Do you see this great need of repentance in your own life? If you do, are you willing to pay the cost that this repentance will exact in your life?

The Midnight Cry (2008)

The Midnight Cry (2008) Listen to Pastor Ray go through in grea... Listen to Pastor Ray go through in great detail the parable of the ten virgins (from Matthew Chapter 25). Are you one of the ten virgins and if so do you have oil in your lamp? Listen as Pastor Ray explain what faith working by love means. Find out how to purchase faith, as you listen along... Pastor Ray gives some concrete examples of how this works. It's not complex but it's not an intellectual process. (NOTE: This message was preached during the severe financial crisis we had in 2008. The national debt was just over ten trillion dollars and that has now more than tripled to thirty three trillion dollars (i.e. $33,000,000,000,000+) so the day of reckoning is upon us.) https://www.nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=43320&feed_id=3233

The Terrifying Third Commandment

The Terrifying Third Commandment https://youtu.be/1raIzROKo14 This ... https://youtu.be/1raIzROKo14 This is truly a terrifying message because we've grossly misunderstood the third commandment. Please listen to the message with a soft heart, one willing to repent. We've reduced much of the teachings in the church to intellectual understandings, something which will ultimately just gussy up the flesh and allow us to be somebody and continue in our wicked ways. Please avoid that trap as you listen closely to this message and ask the Holy Spirit to identify any areas where you may be taking the name of our Lord in vain. https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=31852&feed_id=4820
