3 Signs You're a Real Christian

Salvation simply consists in being drawn from self to Jesus. But with all of Jesus' warnings about false conversion, how can you know whether you're really saved? Practically, the following 3 signs will show whether you're a real Christian.

First, are you willing to be inconvenienced for the gospel? For example, will you change jobs, drive long distances, or give up all of your time to be where the Holy Spirit calls you to be, and to do what he calls you to do? Or, do you only serve Jesus in your spare time--when it's convenient for you?

Second, will you serve Jesus at a loss? If obeying God is draining your family resources, will you keep following Jesus? Do you accept a lower standard of living in order to promote and support gospel work? What about your time? Would you be willing to spend five nights a week in revival meetings, ministering to the spiritual needs of others?

Third, do you serve Jesus for what you can give? Are you willing to give up the "rewards" of the world and the flesh? Or are you serving Jesus for the blessings? Perhaps you've said, "Jesus, I'll serve you as long as you give me a _____ (good job, wife, husband, kids, house). And if you won't give me that, then I'll get it myself." This is serving Jesus for what you can get, not what you can give. And it is not a state of salvation.

Ultimately, you cannot have the world and Jesus too. Nor can you have Jesus all by himself. Salvation is always and only found in the church. You may say that you've given everything to Jesus, but have you given up your life for the church, and for the salvation of the lost? If not, then you're mistaken. You haven't really given everything to Jesus.

Will you forever divorce from self, make every interest subordinate to Jesus, and be united to God?

Soldiering On

Soldiering On Is your church soldiering on without th... Is your church soldiering on without the Holy Spirit, perhaps while praying for revival? This will never produce revival. We must take the position, "Either the Holy Spirit comes, or the church closes. And it's over." How do you know if you're soldiering on? When your church stops confession and repentance. Instead, the church fills up broken cisterns with washed up doctrine, programs and Bible studies, casualness, and happy praise and worship. As a result, the church makes no impact on the culture. Christians remain carnal and unsanctified, and the lost unsaved. This isn't God's heart for the church. Before, the church had revivals. Refreshings of the Holy Spirit brought general change to entire cities and nations. Criminal activities stopped, bars closed, broken families made peace, and people paid back old debts. But, the modern church is so used to soldiering on that we don't even...

The END Is Near!

The END Is Near! https://youtu.be/yJbPzNVzYk4 We've... https://youtu.be/yJbPzNVzYk4 We've made the erroneous assumption that all are saved, meaning that there's nothing between the hearts of the congregants and Jesus. This wicked lie has vaccinated many against the convicting arrows of the Holy Spirit and kept many in their iniquities, where they never had to deal with their wicked ways before a holy God. We also have our modern wicked culture, which is intertwined with the church leaving us in a quagmire. Pastor Ray walks us through many of the blocks to desperate prayer, which must be confronted head on. Are you willing to deal with anything between your heart and the heart of Jesus? His desire is to set you free. Many who call themselves Christians because of their pride will block themselves out, as they've been unwilling to humble themselves before God and their fellow man. What will you do, dear one? https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=37625...

The Terrifying Work of Demons

The Terrifying Work of Demons https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDqcrA... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xDqcrAuPfYA Pastor Ray delves into the spirit world to uncover the terrifying work of demons. We must know and engage in this battle and trust Jesus to fully deliver us. He uses the story of the demoniac in Mark Chapter 5 to uncover the enemy's game plan for you and me. Have you been set free by the blood of Jesus, or are you still enslaved? The battle belongs to the Lord, but we must engage ourselves in this battle through confession, repentance and trust in Jesus. The heart of Jesus is victory against every demonic power that would come against you. https://www.nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=41536&feed_id=1015
