Has anyone ever told you that following Jesus requires you to give up all of your hopes, dreams, and life to Jesus Christ? If this offends you, it's because you have never dealt honestly with your love of sin and rebelliousness. You must leave behind the sentimental, powerless gospel of the modern church that says you will always be a sinner. Eternal life is a free gift, but it's not imaginary: you must be maderighteous through faith. Will you stop struggling and simply believe Jesus?
Judas? Judas had a hidden agenda and would... Judas had a hidden agenda and would not accept Jesus for who he is because his expectations were not being met. Have you dealt with this Judas spirit or will you allow it to destroy you? You need not be a Judas but must allow Jesus to fully change you and deal with bitterness, resentment, pride, judgment and/or your lack of love.
