It's not a complex process and we can't mentally do it (without actually walking through this). Jesus brings us to places where only He can deliver us and He'll deliver us as we stand on His promises or directly upon His word. Do you need a miracle from Jesus? Take some time and intently listen and then apply the message as you go to prayer. The Holy Spirit will lead you, if you'll simply wait on the Lord (See Psalm 27).
Soldiering On Is your church soldiering on without th... Is your church soldiering on without the Holy Spirit, perhaps while praying for revival? This will never produce revival. We must take the position, "Either the Holy Spirit comes, or the church closes. And it's over." How do you know if you're soldiering on? When your church stops confession and repentance. Instead, the church fills up broken cisterns with washed up doctrine, programs and Bible studies, casualness, and happy praise and worship. As a result, the church makes no impact on the culture. Christians remain carnal and unsanctified, and the lost unsaved. This isn't God's heart for the church. Before, the church had revivals. Refreshings of the Holy Spirit brought general change to entire cities and nations. Criminal activities stopped, bars closed, broken families made peace, and people paid back old debts.
