Pastor Ray walks us through this battle, or the three tempations or the three stages of life. Will we follow the demands of our flesh or will we deny ourselves take up our cross and follow after Jesus? Are you a real follower of Jesus or are you just another humanist? We get to decide what we're going to do with Jesus. This isn't a one-time decision but rather is a daily choice we must make as disciples of Jesus.

Each period or stage is marked by either a turning to Jesus or turning to our own selfish desires. Which way have you turned dear one? Is your path clear to you? It's not too late to change course, ask Jesus for the gift of repentance...

15Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not from the Father but from the world. 17The world is passing away, along with its desires; but whoever does the will of God remains forever.
