Like the Israel of Jeremiah's day, the modern church no longer walks on the ancient path. Instead, she offers formal worship services and powers through program after program, devoid of the Holy Spirit. Highly-educated pastors deliver peaceful messages of prosperity. Money flows, music booms, and nobody asks, "Where is the Holy Spirit?"

God's judgment waxes imminent on such a people. But, his word is also, "Stand at the crossroads and look. Ask for the ancient paths. Ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls" (Jeremiah 6:16).

Do you walk in revival, Pentecost power? If not, do you see this as an indication that you're in a formal, Spirit-less religion? Washington, D.C. will burn if we do not return to the ancient path! Will you give your heart up to burn and pray for revival?
