The sobering broadcast began with a reading of a hymn (There is a Fountain FIlled with Blood), which is included at the bottom of the post in the form of a PDF.
The recent happenings at Asbury University are emblematic of what is happening in the modern American church. The message is chalked full with many scriptures, which includes a very stern warning directly from the scriptures. Jesus requires repentance and confession and the gateway into the presence of God is NOT praise and worship.
26If we deliberately go on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no further sacrifice for sins remains, 27but only a fearful expectation of judgment and of raging fire that will consume all adversaries.
