There is a transition happening to those who are part of the National Prayer Chapel, whether you physically go there or you're listening to the broadcasts and sermons. Jesus focus is to build the kingdom of God. He's taking us to a place where we give up the need to be somebody and all of the pride of our heart has been emptied. The painful point in all this is that the transition comes through suffering.

There's one primary idea that Pastor Ray conveyed which is critical to understand in our spirits is that when things don't work out like we think it should, then don't turn against Jesus but humble your heart and submit to that still small voice. We must lay down all demands, all anger and simply allow Jesus to do whatever He wills. Here's what Jahazel said to the king of Judah in 2 Chronicles 20 "You need not fight in this battle; station yourselves, stand and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out to face them, for the Lord is with you.
