This is a powerful sermon regarding the brother of Mary and Martha named Lazarus. It's actually much more about Mary and Martha and you and me. The suffering that we must go through is not about us but rather about reaching others for Jesus. It's much more than an intellectual understanding but requires our full submission to Jesus. Intellectual information alone will not get us to where we need to be.

Knowledge does not equate to holiness but requires our submission in the midst of great testing. Will you cooperate with Jesus by laying down your life? Jesus is calling us to more than intellectual understanding but action, which will expose our pride and our privacy.

Today's message cuts directly against that, with the question of what is your first love (from Jesus message to the church of Ephesus)? That can be readily determined by looking at your checkbook and reviewing how you've spent your time and resources. Does the first love of Jesus burn in your heart and is that the focal point of your life or is there another love? It's time to get serious and deal with this issue, will you do so today??? https://www.nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=11206&feed_id=2743
