Pastor Ray takes through the story of Jesus at Gethsemane, and it's a road that every pilgrim must take, as Jesus brings us to our own crucifixion. First, Pastor Ray lays out a much more practical definition of theology, and it's much more than an intellectual understanding as noted by the quote below.

"There is no theology of God, without an obedience to God."

Pastor Ray during this message

Then we must recognize and deal with the gap dragon through reflection and allow the Holy Spirit to unveil the gap between what we say and what we actually do. Surely, there's no intimacy with Jesus without honest reflection.

"The gap Dragon problem is that there is a distance between what most of us say we believe and what most of us do."

Pastor Ray during today's message

The real meat of the message is in two simple questions. First, what crushes you and second, what is your limit with God. Your answers will reveal how far you're willing to go with God and will determine your walk with Jesus. Our prayer is that you go all the way and give Jesus fully sway in every facet of your life.

In today's classic sermon, Pastor Ray distinguishes the "Life on God's Terms" with the "Kingdom of Cain" who wanted to have be in charge of his own life. Despite Cain's great sin, God still called after him and his call is that we lay down our lives in service to Him. Will you be a Cain or a Daniel? God never forces us to serve him but yet he continually calls us to lay down our lives to Him. https://www.nationalprayerchapel.com/06-25-2016-the-kingdom-of-cain-saturday-sermon-classic-october-2006-2/?feed_id=176&_unique_id=643165783b58a

Judas?

Judas? Judas had a hidden agenda and would... Judas had a hidden agenda and would not accept Jesus for who he is because his expectations were not being met. Have you dealt with this Judas spirit or will you allow it to destroy you? You need not be a Judas but must allow Jesus to fully change you and deal with bitterness, resentment, pride, judgment and/or your lack of love. Do it quickly because this Judas spirit will quickly lead to betrayal and you will become a betrayer. https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=10162&feed_id=4077

The Amazing Grace of Jesus Christ (October 14, 2015)

(Note: Since the broadcast on January 7 further told the story of John Newton, we are posting the broadcast from October 14.) Can God save the worst of us? The hymn Amazing Grace that has touched the lives of millions was written by a very unlikely candidate to have embraced the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This beautiful hymn of Grace was written by a slave trader. John Newton was a hardened man who had sailed the world, seen it all and profited from the buying and selling of human beings. Sometimes the very worst can become the very best. Listen to this inspiring story of repentance, forgiveness, redemption and our Lord’s Amazing Grace. https://nationalprayerchapel.com/?p=3774&feed_id=4166
