Today's opening message is an overview in a series of messages on what it means to be of no reputation (or utterly poor in Spirit). Before a man or woman can be used in the kingdom of God, He or She must be whittled down before Him. That's not an easy process, as you watch Pastor Ray walk through this.

Our problem is that we will not escape the scourging hand of God that will come upon us to whittle us down, unless we try to escape in our unbelief. We all must be whittled down, and that work can only be done by Jesus and His discipline, although painful, is of pinpoint accuracy and Jesus' intent is to produce a harvest of righteousness in our life. Will you pray and ask the Holy Spirit to deal with your own heart and whether you're small enough to be useful in His hands?
