Pastor Ray introduces or reminds you depending on where you're at with Jesus, of the desert journey you will likely face if you're a Christian. It's critically important to know in the midst of the crushing that occurs in the desert, that Jesus has not deserted you and why this is necessary. In fact, He said that He would never leave us or forsake us (See Hebrews 13:5, unless we foresake Him of course).
It's in this desert place, that Jesus completes, if we will submit to Jesus in the transformation process that began when we were converted. The desert journey will end once we're fully prepared for His purposes, whatever that may entail. Don't be discouraged if you're in this place of crushing, as Pastor Ray is and many of us are but rather submit your life fully to Jesus and give Him full sway in your life, He loves you with an unfailing love.
